David Salkin Creative - Custom Textile and Surface Design

Trained in Architecture, Salkin's primary practice involves manipulating plans and grids to form patterns and images that are meant to be inhabited and read as prototypes for new urban formations. However, custom projects consider the richness of the world to include a myriad of themes and patterns. Current projects include Custom Rugs, Tile Patterns, Wallpaper, and Upholstery.

Other work includes Installations and Event Design and interests in Contemporary Art, Design, and Architecture.

David Salkin was born in Sarasota, Florida. He received a Master's Degree in Architecture from Tulane University. He currently lives and works in Chicago at the 1709 Gallery Building.
