Custom Rug Design

When designing custom rugs for clients, I seek to navigate material worlds with authenticity and beauty, creating pieces that are both visually striking and deeply meaningful. My approach is grounded in the belief that design should bridge the gap between surface and substance, bringing a sense of purpose and connection to the environments they adorn. In this sense, each rug I create is an exploration of proportions and intuition, fundamental principles that guide my work and ensure that these pieces enhance the spaces they occupy.

When taking on a new commission, I am fueled by both my client’s sensibility and the space itself — using these ingredients as points of departure for exploration. And to make sure the work produced is as functional as it is beautiful, I collaborate closely with skilled artisans in the fabrication process, ensuring that every line, curve, and texture of the rug is crafted with care.
